Jocelyn Celestin, MD, is a board-certified allergist and immunologist who treats patients with allergies, asthma, and immune disorders. He is Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, Immunology and Microbial Disease; founder and director of the fellowship training program in allergy and immunology at Albany Medical College. He was trained at Montemorelos University, Loma Linda University, Harbor-UCLA, University of South Florida, and Harvard Medical School. He has published in the Journal of Immunology, Nature Medicine, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice, and Annals of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Celestin currently lives in Kinderhook, NY with his wife of 42 years, Maud Joachim-Celestin, MD, DrPH. Their son Arthur Celestin, MD, MPH is an attending physician in plastic and hand surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Their daughter Leila Celestin-Victorin, MS, CCC-SLP, is a practicing speech therapist and visual artist in South Bend, IN. The Celestins enjoy babysitting their grandchildren Athen Jocelyn and Rhea Lynae.
